My Go-To Smoothie

Ok so basically I love mojitos.

Alcoholic, non-alcoholic, mango, blackberry, plain, you name it. I love it.

So I was on Pinterest (per usual) and was looking up different recipes for mojitos…

And all of a sudden I came across this “Mojito Smoothie”.

Like what was I supposed to think when I saw this?!

So of course I clicked on it and checked it out, what the blogger who wrote this recipe said about it, and looked at the ingredients!

It was a smoothie that was fresh AND healthy aka a MUST try.

Make sure to check out the full blog post here. But of course I am going to go on and sum up the key points (aka how you make this amazing drink)…

The Ingredients Include:

2 Frozen Bananas (sometimes I use fresh bananas and ice)

10 Mint Leaves (I know… so precise)

1/2 Cup Almond Milk (I use unsweetened original)

1/2 Cup of Coconut Milk (Full fat. But sometimes I use lite)

1 Tablespoon Lime Juice (I usually just do 1 lime since I am all about the mint)

Directions:

Throw it all in a blender and blend.

Pour in a glass and enjoy!

And DAMN is it good. The mint comes through for not just for the tasting aspect but also the smelling aspect.

The lime juice don’t come through intensely at all (if you are a fan of that you do you). When it comes to the smoothie I am all about the mint.
