New Orleans, Louisiana

So I am officially back home and ready to write about everything New Orleans.

I only spent two days there but my dad and I packed enough for a week in two days.

When we got in of course we had to walk over to Bourbon street. Now my favorite part was for sure the buildings. GORGEOUS.

Then we went on an AMAZING tour by Celebration Tours. I 100% recommend. They did an amazing job and covered the french quarter, jackson square, St. Louis Cathedral, Bourbon St., french market, 9th ward, Harry Conick Jr’s musician village, the historic cemeteries Saint Charles ave and the garden district. Aka everything.

Afterwards we went to Three Muses. My dad and I decided it was the best place we ate all trip. If you visit New Orleans, you HAVE to go to Three Muses. We ordered the bacon wrapped blue cheese stuffed dates, the mozzarella stuffed falafel, the kale bruschetta and the fries. Everything was superb. Also I asked for an Arnold Palmer but they didn’t have any iced tea so she said for me to try the “earl grey gardens” without alcohol which is cathead Honeysuckle vodka, Earl Grey syrup, lemon, soda, and thyme. But wow it was amazing. So light and refreshing.

Next day…

We woke up and went to Cafe du Monde to find a huge line so we went to the beignet place literally next door. So good and no line!

We also went to Saint Charles Ave. again and walked around Tulane and there was this huge tree that had beads all over it. So gorgeous.

We had to leave super early unfortunately since I was super excited to go to Merchant which is a cute coffee shop and creperie. I was planning on getting this amazing acai chia pudding. I might have to try and make my own!

Here are some extra pictures from our time in New Orleans!

I hope you enjoyed and make sure to stay tuned for a couple of little stops along our drive back home!
