It is the start to a new week. A fresh start to do anything you want to do.
At least that is how I look at it.
For the longest time I have been wanting to create a “routine” so that I have some regularity in my day to day life (besides work). Somewhere I read that if you go to bed and wake up at the same (ish) time everyday, your body regulates and functions better.
(For whatever reason, the idea of routines make my heart beat fast and my mind settle.)
So I created this morning routine that I plan on following at least 5 of the 7 days (basically all depending on my work schedule since I work every single day of the week. No joke.)
I decided I would give this a go yesterday since I had a lot of time to myself since it was my one day off for the next few weeks and it felt amazing!
I am a morning gym sesh lover since I am on my feet all day and just want to curl up in bed after. The last thing I want to do after work is workout and get sweaty after I’ve been working out in the heat all day, sweating and on my feet.
Also… Meditating! OMG. Total game changer. It put my mind in the right place all day and made me feel more grounded.
Now this is a rough estimate of how my mornings would go, but this is my ideal routine with time stamps and everything.
