Talking To Nicolette Rogers on Fitness, Health and College


My beautiful sorority cousin and sister, Nicolette Rogers, over the summer, became a coach with the company Beachbody after completing their 21 Day Fix herself. Beachbody’s “…mission [is] to help you become the person you want to be. Our comprehensive approach combines fitness, nutrition, and support—a proven formula that has helped thousands of people completely transform their lives. ” After completing her 21 Day Fix she found a love for a healthy lifestyle and wanted to help others obtain what she then accomplished.

She started up a fitness Instagram (here) and Facebook page (here) and has been helping anyone and everyone reach their goals for health and fitness. And now I am lucky enough to interview her for Something Blissful about health, fitness, college, Beachbody, The 21 Day Fix, coaching, advice, and how her new fit lifestyle is working out for her!

| Hi Nicolette! I am so happy to have you on the blog to talk about health, fitness, passions and Beachbody! Please introduce yourself! |

NR: Hi Chandler! Thanks so much for welcoming me to your blog! I am so pumped to be answering your questions today! I guess I’ll start with my name is Nicolette, I’m 19 years old, and a current sophomore at High Point University.


How did you stumble upon the beach body program and coaching this past summer?|

NR: I was just scrolling through Instagram one day and came across my coach, Natalie’s Help Wanted post. I immediately reached out to her to learn more, and from there was introduced to the wonderful world of coaching.

How did your 21 day fix go? What were your struggles, strengths, realizations etc.? |

NR: When becoming a coach, it is strongly encouraged to start one of Beachbody’s many programs. I chose to do the 21 Day Fix! My first round went really well and I was able to lose about 15lbs (the Freshman 15 I had gained my first year at school lol). I’d say my biggest struggle was definitely nutrition, and getting into a good routine with meal preparation. As for strengths I was very consistent with my workouts, and I think it’s because they were only 30 mins a day from home, and each day consisted of different routines so it never became boring. With all that being said my biggest realization after finishing my program was that a fitness journey goes way beyond a body transformation. Your mindset plays a huge role in the success of your journey.


What made you want to become a coach? |

NR: I think it was a combination of a few things. First and fore most I was so intrigued by the business itself. The job of a coach is simply to motivate/inspire others through social media to start a healthy lifestyle all while getting healthy and fit yourself. In addition, my first few days of summer vacation I felt kind of lost. I have no complaints about my first year of college because in all honesty it was an amazing experience, but I just felt like something was missing. My self-esteem was at an all-time low, and I desperately needed something new in my life. Lastly, I felt as though my story could relate to a lot of girls my age so I was excited to be able to share my new experiences through coaching.

How is balancing coaching and school at the moment? |

NR: It has definitely taken some adjusting in order to fit in the proper amount of time for both coaching and school life but I feel like I’ve created a strong routine. In addition, I have an amazing coaching community who motivate, support, and inspire me every day!

What does your weekly workout routine look like? |

NR: I’m currently doing another round of the 21 Day Fix, and I’ve just added a 3 Week Virtual Yoga Retreat to the mix which has helped a lot with stress relief.

What is your favorite go to healthy sweet and salty treat? |

NR: Anything with dark chocolate! One of my new found faves is Justine’s dark chocolate peanut butter cups.


Last one, What tips and tricks do you have for anyone that is beginning a healthy lifestyle, working out etc.? |

NR: Go in open minded. You’re not going to love every second of the process, but in the end it will be so worth it. Be patient, and don’t be hard on yourself. The journey is what matters most and once you start reaching the goals you’ve set you won’t want to stop there! xo
