Fall Mornings


Recently my mornings have been necessary in my life. With everything going on in life, being school, out of school work, projects, work, sorority and this, I am NEEDING every minute I can get of relaxation. What inspired this post was me realizing that I kind of have a routine three of the days out of the week when I do not have class until the early evening. So why not share that with you, right? Right. So lets talk what I am loving about my Fall mornings this year.




Usually when I wake up, even though I know it isn’t the best, I go on my phone and check social media. Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and my emails for sure are checked when I am in this lovely time in my bed. I just love staying in bed, awake, just chilling, not worried about having any serious obligations right away just makes me feel so calm. When I decide to get out of bed, I love love love meditating for about 5 to 15 minutes to really clear my head and energize me for the day to come. I highly recommend trying mediation, even if it is just for 5 minutes a day. There are just so many benefits.

After mediating I will get out of bed and walk downstairs to go make some coffee. Recently I have been loving french press coffee. I don’t know why but to me it tastes smoother, richer, and just overall better. So this has been my go to when I have a morning to myself.

Recently I have been taking an apple cider vinegar shot before my coffee because it helps reduce bloat, increases energy levels and fights inflammation. I wrote about it in this post.

After I bring my coffee back upstairs I will usually hop back into bed and either go on my phone, read a book or check all the blogs I follow on my computer.

This is one of my favorite parts of my mornings.


Also love lighting a candle. I got this Yankee candle on a serious discount at Tj Maxx.



Then I will usually gather all of my stuff that I am going to use then to get some work done. I will check out how my blog is doing, brainstorm post ideas, drink more coffee and eat something so the coffee doesn’t upset my empty stomach. Today I am eating an Rx Bar (mentioned in this post).

Also I am so excited for all the post ideas I have coming for you! If you have any ideas that you want me to write about please let me know.



I will always work on a blog post a little bit every single day. I love working on my blog because it isn’t even work. It is just enjoyment for me. This day I was working on this post. I don’t really have a method for posts, some times I will write a whole blog post at once and post it right away like this one, or sometimes I will slowly chip away at it, research, link everything for you and post it days or weeks later.


During the day I love taking photos for the blog because the lighting is just way better. Also make sure to keep your eye out for that post I am taking pictures for. (Hint: it is a new products post!)

And after having this lovely lazy morning, I am off to the gym to go sweat a little!
