During Spring Break, a few of us decided to venture out of Myrtle Beach and go to Charleston for the day!
I’ve been itching to go back to Charleston ever since I went about 2 years ago.
Honestly it was so much fun to visit a few places that I hadn’t seen since the last time I was there and to discover places I had never seen before!
We walked along Broad St., King St., and E Bay St. and found some amazing photo opportunities, food, and drinks.
We grabbed a bite at Brown Dog Deli since Ariana was CRAVING a hot dog for whatever reason.
It was super cute and quiet out on this back patio of the deli and was a nice break from all the hustle and bustle out on the main street.
We each got a hot dog and myself a pear cider (it sounded fun) and chilled here until we were ready to explore again!
Black Tap Coffee in Charleston is one of my favorite places. Seriously.
They have a killer lavender latte.
I had it hot back in 2015 when I visited with my dad since it was POURING and this time I had it iced since it was absolutely gorgeous outside.
Carly and Ariana both got the brown sugar iced latte and both really enjoyed it as well.
This coffee shop is just a few blocks off of King St. (aka the best street aka the shopping street of Charleston) and a few blocks from the College of Charleston campus.
I love all of the buildings in Charleston.
They just have so much character and are all unique.
All of the streets are the same way too. Cobblestone, regular, brick.
I love the regularity of the irregular.
King Street, the shopping central of Charleston was jam packed of amazing stores and even a little bit of street art.
We stopped into Lush, Steve Madden, and other name brands and little boutiques.
I loved this wall of street art in particular.
I just think it is low key deep. “Reality is wrong. Dreams are real”.
We found this adorable street with a cobblestone road and knew we had to take some pictures on it.
I decided to channel my inner Kourtney Kardashian and do a series of 3 pictures on Instagram.
Check out my attempt.
And lastly, my favorite building EVER. It is just so on brand.
The light pink color makes my soul swoon and the New Orleans-y vibe of the wrought iron and big windows just made me happy and brought me back to when I was in New Orleans last.
It actually is my phone’s wallpaper right now and I am loving it.
Make sure to put Charleston on your list of places to visit.
