I’m not sure if you know this but I’m not much of an eyeshadow girl…
I can never seem to drop 40-100 dollars on a single palette, my eyelids crease 24/7 and are oily, and I just can’t be bothered to put in the effort (except an occasional BRONZER in my crease).
Yeah a complete 180 from a couple years ago when I put on a full face everyday.
ANYWAY, I though I needed an eyeshadow palette before I left for Italy but had the hardest time picking one out. I mean there are literally too many options on the market.
So I went to a brand I always admired since I was planning on picking up different things. Picture the Charlotte Tilbury with the burgundy brown with rose gold and old Hollywood dressing room lights. Anyway I always watch her YouTube videos.
She is just so mesmerizing to watch. So I did my research on one of her palettes since I also wanted to try out her bronze and glow and she had a palette with it ALL. Even a swish and pop blush. But there were a couple that she created… which one should I get?
Of course I fell for the Limited Edition Instant Look in a Palette in Beauty Glow. (Also check out this new Beautylish
I am a sucker for bronzes and champagnes, and this palette has it all. All of the pans in the palette can be used as eyeshadow, it has a bronzer and highlight and two blush shades so I don’t think you can get more complete than that.
It is compact enough to travel with and can go from day to night easily. And on top of that, I don’t have as much of an issue with my eyeshadow creasing while using these.
The second product that I AM IN LOVE WITH, is the Eyes to Mesmerize in Bette. This is a copper bronzey gold. It is amazing. It is a cream that is super versatile. I usually use a finger to apply this product and it blends like a dream with a brush, finger or whatever else you may use. The cream dries down to a powder finish and doesn’t budge super easily. For a different look I will use a liner brush to use the color as a liner. It looks super subtle while being blingy, while being more understated than a black liner. Super complimentary to my blue eyes!!
Overall I just felt that sharing this with you was a must since I have been taking these products everywhere and adding them to my daytime look for a nice transition from morning classes to drinking an aperol spritz at night (and in the afternoon).
Cheers to an aperol spritz in hand and a bronzey eye.
