Our last “day” in Paris. Paris part trois. More of a half day but who’s counting hours?
We left our apartment and walked around the corner to find an adorable farmers market! There was amazing food, produce and I even found a man selling jewelry. After that pinky ring find, and after Clare found a few pairs of earrings, we were off to the Place Des Vosges. We headed out early since our brunch spot infamously had a long line before the restaurant even opened.
Before, since we were ahead of schedule, we stopped to see the Place de la Bastille just a few blocks away from our brunch spot.
We also arrived at the restaurant, Les Bonnes Souers early, so we walked around the Place Des Vosges for a bit before we hopping in line for brunch.
For brunch it is a one price get like 6 things which I thought was awesome. So I ordered the eggs benedict, tea, orange juice, and an apple crisp for dessert. So much food I was so stuffed afterwards.
Since everything was closed and set to open once we finished breakfast, we walked around the square again and stopped in shops and looked through windows into art galleries.
In the park there was even a dad running around with his daughters taking turns running with him. So cute for a Sunday morning.
On our walk back to our Airbnb we stopped to take a selfie with the Notre Dame in the background over La Seine. It was super windy and chilly but a perfect way to end our last day in Paris.
And with that last view of La Seine, we were off to the train station and off to Geneva!
Goodbye Paris! See you soon.
